Tsurugi-san. [...can't...resist...] Copy that. It looks as though these things aren't that useless. Over.

Yeah. It's coming in pretty clearly from this side, too.

[ there's a small pause where the send button is still pressed, as if he's briefly considering closing the statement, but he decides to pass on the radio speak. ~~TOO DORKY.~~ ]

[Somewhere that's clearly not far in the background, another voice can be heard if Ishida's listening.]

Whoa, hey, that sounds like Ishida! I didn't know you knew him.

[Lloyd's enthusiasm rises with every word that he says.]

Man, that's so cool! You can talk to him with that thing!

[ ...yes, he's listening. ]

...Very clear.

[ Which is all the acknowledgement he's giving that he can hear Irving-san. Never mind that he also didn't know Tsurugi-san knew him, or that they'd be together that night.

...or that, even knowing what he already did about walkie-talkies and radios, he thinks it's kind of cool, too. (He's never had one before, OK!) Nope. Just resisting asking why he's so excited and how is he everywhere.

Unfortunately, it isn't as if he can just hang up. He's not going to turn off his radio, and he can't control whether or not Tsurugi-san is transmitting to him.

...so, yeah, he hears all that. Except, over-and-out means he was supposed to be done.

He's torn between snapping and demanding that Tsurugi-san not tell Irving-san, and just pretending he didn't hear.

[ AS A MATTER OF FACT he is sending this whole conversation intentionally—since these two (apparently) know each other, there's a possibility they may want to say hello. But that's seeming less and less likely on one particular end, so he's going to tread cautiously. ]
